This CD features nearly an hour long live take of what would later develop into "Vortexual" Element Three (one of our personal favorites in the series) recorded at Jamal Wallace's (Antique Modulation) operation in the heart of Detroit. Recorded as an audio experiment using the A-112 modular wavetable (and a plethora of other modular synths), which allowed us to import our own audio sources manually, sculpt and shapeshift a myriad of sound sources live in the mix and the result was fathoms deep, undulating and beautiful. Written & Produced by Variant. Additional Modular development and concepts by N.S. and S.B @ Antique Modulation, Ann Arbor / Detroit, MI circa 2012-2013. Mastered in echospace.
