First time on CD for this classic 1977 album which has been in demand for many years, with original vinyl copies selling for around ￡50. The album was produced by The Mizell brothers whose productions are sought after. In fact it is one of few Mizell production albums not to have been released on CD.
This is the third Mizell brothers production album released by Soul Brother Records (the other two Johnny Hammond Gamblers life and Gary Bartz anthology have sold very well).
This is Rance's most collectable album and his most soulful (many of his others are Gospel albums). It includes the in demand club filler 'Peace Of mind' the two step classic 'Reasons To Survive' and the stomper 'Truth Is Marching On' all of which are regularly played in clubs and on specialist soul radio shows.
We expect good reviews in Echoes, In The Basement, Manifesto, Soul Survivor, Soul Express, Soul Up North, On The Scene and numerous websites, coupled with adverts in Echoes etc. We also expect airplay from Solar, Starpoint and specialist soul shows on FM (Peter Young, Norman Jay, Giles Peterson, Craig Charles etc).
