かつてオーストラリアのRAVENから出た同名のコンピとは全く内容が違います。次々に表れては廃盤になっていくバカラック関連のコンピが多いだけに本作も買い逃し厳禁。既CD化曲もちらほらと見当たりますが、大半が初CD化。しかも入手困難なキャリアの初期作品に集中しています。直接盤から起こしたマスターの為、ACEなどに比べると音質は落ちますが、収録曲のレア度＆ライナーの充実度を考えれば充分に「買い」と言えるでしょう。たっぷりとした弦とバカ ラックらしいメロディが特徴の楽しめるGERGE HAMILTONの"ERRAND OF MERCY"、煌びやかなミュート・トランペットと女性コーラスのアレンジがピタリと嵌まったPHIL COLBERTの"WHO'S GOT THE ACTION"の2曲がCDで聴けるだけでもバカラック・マニアにはマストと断言します。
