Musical group formed in Bogota under the name @La Sonora Panamericana@ in the early seventies. In 1972, his LP Bamba Oe was published, after having changed its name as a result of the Pan American Games in Cali into "Onda Panamericana" The record was pressed under the CBS label, with arrangements by Luis @Chiqui@ Zú;iga and Miguel Rodríguez who left registered on the plate songs ranging from Guaguancó to Boogaloo. Among its musicians were, in the vocal part, Joe Hurtado and Luis Eduardo Gómez, /Gómez also performed as trumpeter as well as Deifilio Martínez/ and trombonists Gustavo Garcia @El Pantera@ and Fernando Tapasco.
