６７年１０月から６８年２月までの５ヶ月間で制作された、同名映画のサウンドトラックという設定のアルバム。

管楽器、ハープシコードが全面に出され、構成もサントラっぽくなっていて、ヴォーカルの入った曲は５曲くらい。おどろおどろしいジャケットとともに、綿密で奥深い、愛すべき１枚です。終盤の「KING KONG」組曲での素晴らしい演奏は圧巻の一言。
