Progressive Rockを代表するバンドの一つ、英Deramからリリースされた'68年作がアルバム・リリース50周年記念としてCD+DVD(3CD+2DVD)/デジブック仕様5枚組拡大盤で再発!!
CD:Disc1にアルバム本編の新規リマスターOriginal Stereo Remixと未発表Mixを含む同時期のシングル両面5曲を収録、CD:Disc2にアルバム本編の新規Stereo Remixと'A Simple Game'の2018リマスターを収録、CD:Disc3に'68年BBC Radio'Top Gear'用音源などのラジオ用音源や別テイクなど15曲を収録。
DVD:Disc1にはアルバム本編のNew Stereo Mix ver.と新規リマスターOriginal Stereo Mix、2つのミックスの96 kHz / 24-bit 5.1 Surround音源を収録。DVD:Disc2にはテレビ番組'68年仏Ce Soir On Danse、'68年仏Carte d’Or、'68年BBC TV Colour Me Pop出演時の映像と音源を収録。

'Ride My See-Saw'や'Voices in the Sky'といった初期の代表曲を収録している'68年リリースの一大コンセプト・アルバム。プログレッシヴ・ロック始まりの一枚としても名高い前作『DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED』で打ち出したクラシック音楽を取り入れた音楽志向をベースに置き人生と精神世界の追求をテーマに制作。メンバー5人全員が複数の楽器を演奏するという個々のミュージシャンとしての才能の高さを知らしめるようなエピソードにも劣らない先鋭なセンスでまとめている傑作です!

今回初出の未発表音源として'Legend of a Mind'、今回初CD化音源として'Voices In The Sky', 'Dr Livingstone, I Presume', 'Ride My See Saw'を含むThe 1968 Single Mastersを収録。今回初出の未発表映像として'Live On ORTF"Ce Soir On Danse"', "Carte D'or"を収録。
新規ライナーと秘蔵写真や記念画像を掲載した76ページのブックレットを封入。
各CDはデジスリーヴに収納の上、ボックス型のケースに封入。
