■Volbeat:デンマークのデス・メタル・バンドDominusに在籍していたMichael PoulsenとFranz Gottschalk(後に脱退)を中心に2001年に結成。正統派ヘヴィ・メタルにパンク、ロカビリーの要素を取り入れたユニークな音楽性で異彩を放ち、ヨーロッパ各国およびアメリカで根強い人気を誇り、METALLICAやMEGADETH、NIGHTWISH等の大物バンドのツアー・サポートでも話題を集める。『The Strength / The Sound / The Songs』(2005)でデビュー。『Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil』(2007)、『Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood』(2008)、『Beyond Hell/Above Heaven』(2010)、『Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies』(2013)とアルバムをリリース。現メンバーはMichael Poulsen (vo/g) 、Anders Kjølholm (b)、Jon Larsen (ds)、Rob Caggiano (g)(2013年にAnthraxから加入)。2017年に最新アルバム「Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie」をリリース
