Guy One is the representing voice of the Frafra people of northern Ghana. As the winner of the "Ghana Music Award 2012" he is a super star among the Frafra. He sings and plays the Kologo, a 2-stringed guitar, mostly for traditional occasions. But he entered the music business many years ago by releasing albums for the local market since 2002.
For Philophon he teamed up with Max Weissenfeldt, drummer of the legendary "Poets of Rhythm", to create a deep groove with a haunting choire of Frafra soul.
