アメリカが誇る実力派シンガー・ソング・ライター、サラ・バレリス。2007年のデビュー以来これまでエピックからスタジオ・アルバム5枚をリリースし、グラミー賞、エミー賞、ト ニー賞全てにノミネートされた経歴を持つ。今回リリースされるのは、2019年に発売された5枚目のアルバム『Amidst the Chaos』の発売後に全28都市で行われたツアーより、2019年11月にロサンゼルスの野外音楽堂=ハリウッド・ボールでのパフォーマンスを収録した、彼女自身初となるライヴ・アルバム。アルバム『Amidst the Chaos』の収録曲を中心に、「Love Song」「Brave」「Gravity」など、彼女の代表曲も収録した充実の内容。「ツアーを終えた直後は、その後1年半もの間、ライヴが出来なくなるとは思ってもみなかったわ。このアルバムで、ファンや観客と一緒に過ごした時間を再訪することは、ライヴパフォーマンスから離れているこの時間の中では、より深い意味を持ちます。」 「LAの小さなクラブからスタートした自分にとって、ハリウッド・ボールでライヴを行う事は夢のまた夢であったが、夢が実現した今、それは並みはずれた名誉であり、永遠に覚えておきたい瞬間です。」と、サラは語っている。
