シャバカ・ハッチングスのレーベル「Native Rebel Recordings」からリリースされた前作『LIKE THE SKY I'VE BEEN TOO QUIET』に続く新作であり、今回はニルス・フラームのレーベル「LEITER」からのリリース。レコーディングには、シャバカ・ハッチングス、イマニュエル・ウィルキンス、エスペランサ・スポルディング、ヴィジェイ・アイヤーなどなど現代ジャズのビッグネームが多数参加し、スピリチュアル・ジャズと南アジアの敬虔な音楽が溶け合った革新的かつ深い感動に満ちた作品が誕生した。アルバム後半はまさかの「A Love Supreme」のPart.1~Part.4のオマージュによるナンバーを収録!
