    英バーミンガム出身の3人組ポップ・ユニット=FINE YOUNG CANNIBALS (ファイン・ヤング・カニバルズ) は、スペシャルズやマッドネスと並ぶツートーン・ムーヴメントの重要バンド。アンディ・コックスとデヴィッド・スティールにボーカリストのローランド・ギフトを加え1985年にデビュー。アルバム『THE RAW AND THE COOKED』(1989年発売) からのシングル「She Drives Me Crazy」と「Good Thing」がビルボード・チャートでNo.1ヒットとなり、世界的にも人気を博した。プリンスとの仕事で知られるミネアポリスの要人=デイヴィッド・Zがプロデュースした「She Drives Me Crazy」は日本ではCMソングとしてもおなじみ。


    デビュー40周年を記念した新規ベスト。全米No.1、UKトップ10、サントラやCM曲、カバー、コラボ、アルバム未収曲など、キャリアのハイライトをことごとく網羅したファン必携のリリース。「Suspicious Minds」はエルヴィス・プレスリーも歌ったクラシックス。ブロンスキ・ビートのジミー・ソマーヴィルがゲスト参加。「Ever Fallen In Love」はバズコックスのカバーで、映画『サムシング・ワイルド』でも使用。コール・ポーター「Love For Sale」のカバーはチャリティ・コンピ『RED HOT + BLUE』提供曲。デビュー曲の「Johnny Come Home」から90年代再結成時のシングル曲「The Flame」まで、キャリアのハイライトや話題曲をことごとく網羅。
