これまでのスタジオ・アルバム8作品に収録している楽曲の中から選曲された16曲がアコースティック編成による演奏で披露される、パンデミックに襲われた2020年に制作されたセルフ・カヴァー・アルバム。あらゆるエフェクト/効果によって音が広がる普段のアルバムに対して、本作ではヴォーカルも鍵盤も目の前で鳴るような音の表現に力を入れており、その鍵盤さばきが視覚的に想像できるように生々しい。それでいて丁寧な音の重なりによる神妙さと反復が効果して昂る感覚も添えつつ、悲哀が漂うセンチメンタリズムの世界観を目一杯に、音数を減らしながらも一層深まった音像を提示する。
