DOIN’ IT IN THE PARK: PICK-UP BASKETBALL, NYC is the very first film Eddie Palmieri has ever scored in the 50+ years he has been in the recording business. DOIN’ IT IN THE PARK: PICK-UP BASKETBALL, NYC, directed by Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau, won the AUDIENCE AWARD FOR BEST FEATURE at the 2012 Urbanworld Film Festival. The documentary has been screened in six continents, and was released theatrically and digitally this year with forthcoming television broadcasts premieres in the US, Europe, the Philippines, and Japan. Bobbito Garcia, a world renowned DJ and former label owner (Fondle’Em, Fruitmeat, Alala), was the soundtrack’s music supervisor. The soundtrack was mixed and mastered by legendary DJ Breakbeat Lou.
