プログレッシブ・ロックを代表するバンド:KING CRIMSON、今でもバンドを代表する傑作、そしてロック・ミュージック史における最重要作の一つとして評価されている、英Islandから発表された'73年作『LARKS' TONGUES IN ASPIC』がリリース50周年を記念して、お馴染みSteven Wilsonによる新たなるリミックス音源を使用、更に今回初公開となる同作の現存するレコーディング・セッション・テープからの音源を全て収録した2Blu-ray+2CDの4枚組拡大盤として'23年再発!


Blu-ray 1にはSteven Wilsonが手掛けた'72年作本編の'23年新規リミックスのDolby Atmos/DTS HD-MA 5.1 Surround/LPCM 24/96 Stereo音源、更にDavid Singletonによる初期のスタジオセッションテイクを素材として使用した"Elemental Mix"の24/96 Stereo音源4曲とインストゥルメンタル・ミックス3曲、Blu-ray 2には30th Anniversary Remaster音源、'12年発売のボックス『THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS』にも収録されたセッション・リール音源'Keep That One, Nick'、そして初公開となる'73年1月16日から2月1日までのレコーディング・セッション・テープ音源を収録(いずれもLPCM 24/96 Stereo音源のみ)。CD 1にはSteven Wilsonによる'72年作本編の'23年新規リミックス音源とインストゥルメンタル・ミックス3曲、CD 2にはDavid Singletonによる"Elemental Mix"音源及び'Exiles''Book Of Saturday'のマスター・リール音源をそれぞれ収録。各CD/Blu-rayはペーパースリーブジャケットに封入の上、貴重写真/Sid Smithによる新規解説を掲載したブックレットと共に専用のハードケースに収納。
