エリカ・バドゥの代表作『Mama's Gun』収録のJ・ディラのプロデュースでお馴染みのナンバー「Didn't Cha Know」に本作から「Dream Flower」がサンプリングされたことで再注目された、ギタリストの川崎燎、ジェームズ・メイソンも参加した伝説のフュージョン・グループ、タリカ・ブルーのセルフタイトル・アルバム。過去にシングルカットの7インチ・リリースはありましたが、フルアルバムはリイシュー回数も少なく、オリジナル盤は10万円近い値段で取引されることもある激レア盤がカラー盤で再発。
