This CD features a haunting 60-minute live soundscape, exploring the deepest possibilities of sonic depth and sound design. The first in a series of recordings which would slowly develop and define the essence and soul of vortexual [element seven]. Subtle guitar loops (using one of our long time favorites, the Echoplex Digital Pro) helped shape and form the ever evolving chord structures, while modulating tape reels by hand conjured this surreal environment, like an out-of-body sensation, a feeling of weightlessness. The intensity manifests into pure analogue warmthness with subtle movements, a constantly evolving blanket of sound. Pure sonic Bliss!
