IT’S ALL OVER NOW, BABY BLUE"やLOVEの"SIGNED D.C."、Screamin' Jay Hawkinsの"I PUT A SPELL ON YOU"の怪しいカヴァーまで収録とまさに時代を象徴するような一枚!!
"The originals in this album are terrific, mixing garage-punk, folk-rock and some raga-rock with punky, Jagger-influenced vocals... One of the best albums in the late garage style" - The Acid Archives
・Classic NY garage psych
・Booklet features band history
・Finally available on CD again
This youthful quintet formed as a tough New York R&B act in 1965. By the time they made their sole album in 1967 they'd evolved into an impressive psych-influenced rock band, with a moody sound that has been described as 'early Rolling Stones meets early Grateful Dead'. Their classic LP makes its long-overdue return to CD here, complete with explanatory notes, and is sure to appeal to fans of The Chocolate Watch Band, the Lollipop Shoppe and other seminal US garage punk acts.
Track Listing
1. Six Feet Down
2. Earthless
3. I Put A Spell On You
4. Speed
5. Bring It On Home
6. Painted Woman
7. Pale Dream
8. Signed D.C.
9. Forgot To Be Begot
10. A Garden Where Nothing Grows
11. It's All Over Now, Baby Blue
