Live Recordings feat. Polo Montañez Group, Luz del Monte, Hermanos Morales, Orquedario Trio
The Sierra del Rosario is nestled in the mountains of Guaniguanico, Candelaria, Pinar del Rio province. Inserted in this region and founded in 1971, the community of Las Terrazas was created out of Plan Sierra del Rosario, to give life to a geographical landscape eroded and "stimulate development of the area, then inhabited percent twenty families scattered in the foothills.
" Some of these places sonar collects this album, recorded live at the Plaza cinema Community of the Terraces, a mobile recording studio, in just 16 hours. In it's tenth point, sounds, tunes, bachata, guarachas, ballads and controversies. In many of these creations also reflected radio culture has influenced both the Cuban rural environment. "Songs of the Rosary" is a testimony to be registered breath sings of a land where many of the players had never faced a professional recording.
This project is also part of an exploration sponsored by the Center for Research and Development of Cuban Music on raigales families of peasant tradition and is, from its own title, a tribute to Polo Montanes, reality and legend that makes the ride of these songs.

Special collaborations: Laura Vilar, director of CIDMUC; Marcia Leiseca, vice president of the Casa de las Américas and lead manager of the cultural project of Las Terrazas complex.
