I was only four years old when in 1978 Chiswick Records released this great EP, being a cosmonaut was always a dream for me and i'm fullfilling this dream now. Paramecium records third release is the first release of the Billy Bragg's punk band Riff Raff, it was called called I Wanna Be A Cosmonaut. Riff Raff disbanded in 1981 after released five singles more but none as the first. This band wasn't a typical 77 punk band and in the four songs (Cosmonaut, Romford Girls, What's the latest and Sweet as Pie) there is an awesome mixture of punk/pub rock/power pop sounds. Get it and be a cosmonaut more!!!
Release Country: UK
Release Year: 1978 / Reissue Date: 05/2013
Original Label: Chiswick Records.
