In 1952 pianist Otis Spann made his first recordings with Waters, joining his group on a permanent basis the following year. We present here a disc of each man’s output in the Fifties and early Sixties. The inevitable degree of personnel crossover gives the music a satisfying unity. Enjoy tracks such as "Mannish Boy", "The Hard Way" and "I Just Want To Make Love To You".
