スウェーデン発、メロディック・デス・メタル/ヴァイキング・メタル・シーンで今最も勢いのあるバンド、アモン・アマースの2017年「Summer Breeze」(毎年8月にドイツのディンケルスビュールで開催されるヘヴィメタル専門の野外フェス)のパフォーマンスを収録した、ライヴ・ドキュメント・アルバム。デビューから25周年を迎えた彼らの数多いレパートリーの中から、ベストな選曲で行われた圧巻のライヴ・パフォーマンスを収録。DVD/Blu-rayには、ライヴ映像加えて、メンバーのインタビュー等のドキュメンタリー映像も収録される。更にスペシャル・エディション(3DVD+Blu-ray+2CD)には、8月16日のT-Stageのライヴ映像及びCDも収録。 ファン必携のライヴ・ドキュメント・アルバムだ!
<プロフィール>スウェーデンのストックホルムにて結成。88年から活動しているグラインドコアの「スカム」を改名し、92年に「アモン・アマース」に。自主制作アルバムを数枚制作した後、96年にデビューEP『ソロウ・スルーアウト・ザ・ナイン・ワールド』をパルヴァライズド・レコードから発売。98年にUSヘヴィ・メタルの名門レーベルであるメタル・ブレイドと契約し『ワンス・セント・フロム・ザ・ゴールデン・ホール』で本格的な世界進出を果たす。北欧神話、ヴァイキングの世界観を主とし、過去10枚のオリジナル・アルバムを発表、インディーズながら累計120万枚のセールスを記録している。2016発売の10作目『ヨムスヴァイキング』から、北米(メタル・ブレイド)を除く全地域をソニーミュージックに移籍。全米アルバム・チャートでTOP20入り、ドイツとオーストリアで1位を獲得するなど各国のアルバム・チャートでキャリアハイを記録した。2010年のラウドパークで初来日、2012年単独来日、2014年のノットフェス・ジャパンに出演している。2018年3月には、サバトンのジャパン・ツアーのサポートとして約3年振りの来日公演を行った。
