80年代末期から90年代にかけてアンダーグラウンド・シーンの主流がスラッシュメタルからデスメタルへと移行し始めた時期、アメリカではDEATHが、そしてヨーロッパではこのPESTILENCEが早い段階でデスメタル色を強めていきました。本作はデスメタル移行後にリリースされた作品。ですが、早くもキーボードを入れるなどしてオリジナリティを発揮! プログレッシヴ・スラッシュ的なサウンドに変化しています。当時CYNICのトニー・チョイ(B)が参加。リマスター/17年Hammerheart再発盤。ボーナスCDには92年Dynamo Open Airでのライヴ(1-10)/92年オランダ・ロッテルダムでのライヴ(11-17)を収録。
