Leo Ribeiro (violão, vo)
Ricardo Itaborahy (keyboard, piano, programing)
Dudu Lima (bass)
Leandro Scio (drums)
Formed in classical guitar, by the Minas Gerais Conservatory “Lia Salgado”, Leo Ribeiro began his career as a member of the progressive rock band “PLIC”, in the late 1980s. In this band, he participated in the opening of shows by renowned artists in Brazil , like the bands “Kid Abelha” and “Beatles Forever”.
After 30 years of experience as a musician in nightclubs, shows and events, Leo gathered his main compositions on this CD. Recorded at Emmerson Nogueira's studio “Versão Acústica”, the album features the luxurious participation of “Dudu Lima Trio” (Dudu Lima - basses, Ricardo Itaborahy - piano, keyboards and programming, Leandro Scio - drums). With their virtuosistic talent, these Sony Music artists have performed for years with great names in Brazilian music such as Milton Nascimento, João Bosco, Wagner Tiso, Emerson Nogueira himself, in addition to the American Stanley Jordan.
The artistic production of Filomena Toledo, the musical production of Ricardo Itaborahy and the illustrations of Pietro Goulart demonstrate an aesthetic sensibility, both sound and visual. The album “Paisagem” encompasses all the musical versatility of the composer, with instrumental songs (like “Sábado à tarde", dedicated to Pat Metheny), blues (“Pra te convencer"), new age music (“Cavaleiro Solitário"), pop-dance (“Balada") and the iconic “Teshuvá” (classical). The result is an enjoyable and eclectic listening experience. Finally, music for all moments (and tastes).
