アコースティックギターを中心に奏でる地中海音楽
"El matí inventat" ("The invented morning") (Blau 2021) is the new work by Tugores, a musical project by the guitarist and composer from Palma de Mallorca Jaume Tugores. A Cd/Book that includes 8 instrumental songs and 8 tales in Catalan written by Jaume Tugores to celebrate the birth of his children and describe some of the emotions he has felt when he became a father.
All the songs are conducted by the guitar as the main instrument but having a constant dialogue with the other instruments of this new sextet. It also incorporates his voice as one more melodic instrument. True to his cinematographic and Mediterranean style, the result is a very melodic music, which inspires tenderness but at the same time sounds epic, thus expressing the depth and greatness that fatherhood signifies.
The album is accompanied by eight original tales in Catalan by Jaume Tugores himself, where music, fantasy, childhood and parenting are the protagonists. These stories have been illustrated by Mar Serra.
