売切 注文不可After being a member of Los Angeles power pop/glam sensations The Quick, Danny Wilde met Phil Solem, and the band Great Buildings was born, recording an album for Columbia in 1981.Wilde and Solem continued writing together and rebranded themselves as The Rembrandts. Their eponymous 1990 debut featured the Top 15 hit “That’s Just The Way It Is, Baby,” and their work brought them to prominence and the opportunity to co-write and record the theme for a new NBC sitcom called Friends. The track topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart for eight weeks and hit #1 on the BillboardAdult Contemporary and Top 40/Mainstream charts. At the peak of its popularity, the song was not available as a commercial single, becoming the first song to top the Hot 100 Airplay chart without appearing on the Hot 100, but it appeared initially as a bonus track on what would be their third album, L.P.But L.P. is more than “I’ll Be There For You.” It’s another stellar album in The Rembrandts’ catalog, hitting #23 on the Billboard Top 200. Now, L.P. returns for its 30th anniversary, for the first time on vinyl, as a double-LP, pressed on Opaque Yellow vinyl.TracklistSide One1) End Of The Beginning (Solem/Wilde/Mastelotto) 4:322) Easy To Forget (Solem/Wilde) 4:253) My Own Way (Solem/Wilde) 4:074) Don’t Hide Your Love (Solem/Wilde) 4:195) Drowning In Your Tears (Solem/Wilde//Mastelotto) 4:34Total Time: 21:57Side Two1) This House Is Not A Home (Solem/Wilde) 3:172) April 29 (Solem/Wilde) 4:353) Lovin’ Me Insane (Solem/Wilde) 4:014) There Goes Much (Solem/Wilde/Laswell) 3:375) As Long As I Am Breathing (Solem/Wilde) 4:37Total Time: 20:07Side Three1) Call Me (Solem/Wilde) 4:032) Comin’ Home (Solem/Wilde) 4:073) What Will It Take (Solem/Wilde) 4:434) The Other Side Of Night (Solem/Wilde) 4:095) I’ll Be There For You (Theme From ‘Friends’) (Crane/Kauffman/Skloff/Willis/Solem/Wilde) 3:09Total Time: 20:11Side Four1) Turn Me On (Solem/Wilde) 3:412) Perfect Line (Solem/Wilde) 4:103) Wait For Me (Solem/Wilde) 4:494) You Make Me Feel (Solem/Wilde) 3:47★★2025年4月12日 RECORD STORE DAY 限定商品★★RECORD STORE DAY限定商品は店舗/オンライン・ショップ共に予約販売をいたしません。
