70年代からダンスミュージックをつうじて喜びと希望と広める任務を担ってきた音楽伝道師、Danny Krivit。ディスコとガラージサウンドからハウスへ変容していくニューヨークのパーティーシーンを生き、そのソウルを今なお自身のルーツとして胸に宿し続けている彼がContactに再登場!

数々の伝説で語り継がれているKrivitによる功績の中でも、人気のクラシックスや知られざる名作からフロアの機能性をさらに引き出したエディット作品は数多くのファンを魅了してきた。そこに込められた深い知識と心に触れる想いは、彼のDJセットをつうじてフロアへと注ぎ込まれる。しかも、ビンテージもののディスコや魂を揺さぶるハウスミュージックに乗って、豊かな経験と技巧が大胆に、そしてときに繊細に表現されるのだから、今回のDJセットにも期待せずにはいられない!

そんなDanny Krivitのサポートを務めるのはもちろんこの名コンビ、Dazzle Drums。ニューヨークハウスの偉人たちへのリスペクトを胸に、ひたむきにハウスミュージックへ取り組んできたNagiとKei Suganoが、この夜も忘れることのできない瞬間を作り上げてくれるに違いない。

そして! Contactフロアには、人気のディスコエディットレーベル”Most Excellent Unlimited”を率いるPaul Raffaeleが登場!その脇を固めるのは、Contactで特別開催となるヴァイナルディガーパーティーExtra! Extra!だ。世界屈指の良盤ハンターたちが集うことになったこの日、一体どんな音楽が鳴り響くのか!?

「A masterclass of house music from an NYC legend」

Danny Krivit has been on a mission to spread positivity and hope through dance music since the days of roller discos. The fabled producer and DJ was right at the heart of New York’s party culture as disco and the original garage sound morphed into house, and he’s retained the soul at the root of the music ever since.

Some of his most treasured contributions have been his masterful edits, which find him delicately teasing even more dancefloor potency out of much-loved classics and obscure gems, and he brings that deep knowledge and heartfelt passion to every DJ set he performs. From vintage disco to soul-stirring house music, Krivit’s experience and skill pours out of him when he takes to the decks.

In support are long-standing husband-wife duo Dazzle Drums. They may hail from Tokyo, but their legacy is connected with the titans of New York house music. Kei and Nagi Sugano draw on decades of immersion in house culture to create unforgettable dancefloor moments.

The Contact floor will feature Paul Raffaele, head of the respected disco edits label "Most Excellent Unlimited". He’ll be joined by the residents from much-loved crate-digger party Extra! Extra!, which is being revived on this occasion to complement a line-up paying tribute to some of the world’s finest record detectives.
