パブロックレジェンドのメロディアスフォーキーブルースポップな新作!TVドラマにインスパイア!大物↓に例えられる大物。。“... I went off to write treatments to my ownimaginary TV shows which I would grace with thecorrect theme tunes, not ones chosen by idiots.(Instead of lyrics on the album cover, you get plots!)”.
On Imaginary Television, his fourth studio record forBloodshot (and 20th overall in a 30+ year career),Graham Parker combines indelible hooks, penchantfor the British blues-rock revival with a touch of the reggae and biting political commentary to producean incredibly solid record. Channeling Them-era VanMorrison, New York style Lou Reed, and the omnipresentBob Dylan, Imaginary Television might be aconcept record, but like American Songwriter wrotearound Graham’s last record, he “hasn’t changed hissunglasses or his approach.”
