Colin Gilmore's long-awaited second album "Goodnight Lane" will be released in August 2010. Originally from Lubbock Texas, Colin grew up amongst some of the greatest musicians and artists anywhere. His influences range from Buddy Holly and Townes Van Zandt to the Clash and Colin's own father, Jimmie Dale Gilmore. "Goodnight Lane," co-produced by Lloyd Maines and Eric McKinney, with one track produced by Scott Mathews, is a testament to his unique songwriting and spirit. For the past several years, Colin has been touring the US (and one tour Japan), opening for acts like Joe Ely, Alejandro Escovedo, The Flatlanders, Mason Jennings and many others.
