Cumbia, Boogaloo, Descarga / Discos Eternos
HIGHLIGHTS
In their second album "En Órbita" (1969), LOS DESTELLOS continued along the path of the first LP creating and starting what is known as the Peruvian cumbia. This LP contains twelve songs, all very fiery, very hot, very tropical, very musical. Highlighting the psychedelic brightness.NOT exportable to Peru.
DESCRIPTION
This hundred percent modern group has invaded the musical environment with many tropical versions that are received with greater enthusiasm and applause by all audiences. Here Los Destellos mix tropical music with the rhythm of guajiras, paseíto and the boogaloo sabor, highlighting one of their greatest instrumental successes: "Para Elisa" the original theme of Beethoven, a version that years ago was included in Pedro Almodovar's film "The Passenger Lovers". Cumbias with "Cucaracha", "Cumbia del desierto" and "Virgencita" continued on the path that was captivating, experimental and novel for the time.
