La Cobla Sant Jordi & Kepa Junkera: "Kirineoc" a road to travel between two cultures. Go up and down the imaginary mountain range of Kepa's music with the unique and special sound of the cobla.
In a recording lasting more than an hour, the most emblematic compositional trajectory of the Basque musician is reviewed with the arrangements of Pedro Lamas. The eleven musicians of the cobla and the same Kepa Junkera with their range of trikitixas join the sonority of their instruments as the Pyrenees unite, tracing an axis, their cultures.
The simplicity of the basic sounds of both cultures, Basque and Catalan, mixing the sound of the trikitixa with that of the cobla, makes us travel this axis that are the Pyrenees that unite us as if it were an umbilical cord.
With the collaboration of the Catalan follk music duo, Ballaveu.
