全144曲を収録したこのボックス・セットには、5枚のスタジオ・アルバム(うち1枚は24曲入りの2枚組)、2枚のライヴ・アルバム、スタジオ・アウトテイク集に加え、ビル・ワイマン本人がこのボックスのために特別に編集したライヴ音源集『ベスト・オブ・ザ・ブートレッグ・キングス』を収録。さらにアルバム未収録のB面曲や、これまでビデオ作品でのみ入手可能だったライヴ録音も収録されています。

97年のデビュー・アルバム『Struttin' Our Stuff』は、ビルと長年のパートナーであるテリー・テイラーに加え、アルバート・リー、エリック・クラプトン、ゲイリー・ブルッカー、ジョージィ・フェイム、ポール・キャラック、ピーター・フランプトンといった豪華な顔ぶれが参加し、さらにシンガーのビバリー・スキートとマイク・サンチェス、ドラマーのグラハム・ブロード、フランク・ミードとニック・ペインを軸とするブラス・セクション、ピアニストのデイヴ・ハートリー、ギタリストのマーティン・テイラーが加わり、のちに彼らは「キングス・アンド・クイーンズ」のレギュラーメンバーとなりました。

98年の『Anyway The Wind Blows』では、アンディ・フェアウェザー・ロウが参加し、ゲスト・アーティストにはクリス・レアや、ミック・テイラーが参加。2000年のコンピレーション・アルバム『Groovin'』ではレイ・クーパーが参加。2001年の『Double Bill』にはジョージ・ハリスンと再びレイ・クーパーも参加。2007年の『Just For A Thrill』ではマーク・ノップラーがその卓越した才能を披露。2つのライヴ・アルバム『Live』(2005年)と『Live Communication』(2011年)はそれぞれ2004年のドイツ公演と2008年の英国公園を収録。2018年のコンピレーション・アルバム『Studio Time』には、87年から2003年にかけて録音された15曲のアウトテイクを収録しています。

これほどのメンバーが集まっているということで当然のことながら、演奏は常に最高水準のもので、ブルース、ジャズ、ロックンロール、R&B、ソウルのスタンダード曲に加え、ビルのオリジナル曲も織り交ぜられた多彩(そして時に意外性のある)楽曲セレクションに新たな息吹を吹き込み、その雰囲気やムードにシームレスに溶け込んでいます。どのトラックからもメンバーたちが共に演奏することを心から楽しんでいる様子が伝わってきます。ビル曰く「まるでたくさんの友人と一緒にソロアルバムを作っているような感覚だった」というのが伝わる素晴らしい演奏が楽しめます。

デラックスな7インチ・サイズのパッケージに収められ、ビルの個人アーカイブからの写真を掲載した24ページのブックレットには、放送局員兼ジャーナリストのポール・セクストンによる、ビルとビバリー・スキートへの新たなインタビューも掲載されています。
