The first epic installment, THE LAST MEGALOPOLIS was released last year by Media Blasters. Now comes the North American premiere of the long-awaited sequel! It's 1945 and ancient supernatural forces of good and evil wage an apocalyptic battle for the very soul of Japan! Restless, resentful spirits of dark Tokyo's past unite to resurrect Yasunori Katou, the demonic physical embodiment of their ancient malevolence. Meanwhile, Kouou Kanami, a high-ranking monk and Japan's spiritual leader prepares to oppose Katou, the demon bent on destroying the imperial capital. In addition, two more individuals join forces to challenge Katou- Yuusubaru Nakamura, a young man with psychic abilities and Yukiko Tatsumiya, a descendant of Taira no Masakado, the guardian deity of Tokyo. This brave team puts their lives on the line to help save the nation from eternal damnation! This premiere edition features a newly recorded, exclusive audio commentary by visual effects genius
