String bass player, music director, composer and arranger, Pedro was active starting in the ‘30s and not unlike many of his contemporaries he grew under the strong influence of the early jazz music coming off Colombian big city radio stations in those years. After taking part in various South American orchestras (he lived in Costa Rica, Panama, and Venezuela) Don Lito arrived in Colombia in 1965 and gave birth to one of the biggest selling releases of the iconic Discos Fuentes label, Very Very Well.
