Asiko showcases the production powers of two Australian producers: Future Roots and Si Fixion.Their music incorporates multi-instrumentation, MPC sequences, live African percussion and Digital/Analog production. The EP was digitally released by Wonderwheel Records (NYC) in 2019, and has met with critical acclaim from recognised taste makers around the world including Carl Cox (Awesome Sound Wave Records), Nicodemus (Wonderwheel Records), Gilles Peterson (BBC, Brownswood Records) and more.Digital Afrika are based in Melbourne Australia, and have been touring extensively since their inception. This includes several national tours as well as performances at Australia’s premiere dance and world music festivals, and a nomination nod from Victoria’s AGE Music awards.
