バイナルオンリーレーベル COCAG Records からのリリース第3弾。東京を拠点にDJ / Producerとして活動する Shimpei Watanabe による2トラックを収録した12インチ。300枚限定リリース。これまで国内外のレーベルから作品を発表してきた Shimpei Watanabe が、COCAG Recordsに初登場。ハウスを軸に、ミニマル/ディープなグルーヴとDJユースな展開を追求した2曲を収録。マスタリングおよびラッカーカットは、ベルリンの Manmade Mastering にて Mike Grinser が担当。A side : Take, TakeBPM130。軽やかなブレイクビーツのニュアンスをまといながら、タイトな4つ打ちのキックと力強いベースラインでグイグイとフロアを引っ張るミニマルトラック。要所で差し込まれる広がりのあるパッドが、それまでのストイックなグルーヴとのコントラストを生み、一気に高揚感を押し上げていく。シンプルな音の抜き差しを軸に展開しながらも、約10分のロングトラックを飽きさせることなく走り抜ける、非常にDJユースな1曲。B side : BYOBBPM127。低く沈み込むボトムとディープなミニマルハウスのグルーヴを基調に、太いシンセスタブがフィルターの開閉とともに表情を変えながら展開するトラック。一定のグルーヴをキープしながら、細やかに移り変わるシンセフレーズが上モノに彩りを加え、約7分間じっくりと揺れ続けられる構成に仕上がっている。随所に差し込まれる人々の話し声や街の喧騒を思わせるサンプルが独特の空気感を生み出し、クラブはもちろん、オープンエアのパーティーにもよく映える1曲。 Shimpei Watanabe東京を拠点に活動するDJ / Producer。ハウスミュージックを軸にDJ・楽曲制作を行い、国内外のクラブやパーティーで活動。Producerとしても国内外のレーベルから作品を発表し、ハウスを軸にファンク、ディープハウス、テックハウス、ミニマルなどの要素を横断した楽曲制作を続けている。

He’ve been play as a bassist on individual Rock band.in 2012, he jumped out from Japan, and started traveling at Australia, Toronto and New York. 国内ヴァイナルオンリーレーベル(COCAG Records)初となる200枚限定リリース!!バイナルオンリーレーベル(COCAG Records)初となる日本200枚限定リリース。A面はブロークンなリズムを効かせながらそこにヒプノティックなシンセ・リフやチャント風フレーズなどを配している。B面はミニマルなリフや エレガントなピアノ・フレーズ、ダブ処理や空間的な音響工作を用いながら暗闇の中を黙々と突き進んでいくディープ・テクノ/テック・ハウスを繰り広げている。●アーティスト・プロフィールYasuharu Motomiya は東京在住の Producer / DJ。彼のサウンドは主に電子音楽、ハウスやテクノ、ミニマルを背景としたダンスミュージックへのアプローチを提案している。また彼の楽曲はグリッチやサンプリングといった手法を巧みに取り入れるなど進化し続けている。2008 年に GRAIN RECORDS よりバイナル初のリリース「Sprout Diagonal」、2010 年には同レーベルより「Dark Brown」のリリースを果たした。これらのリリースを機に国内外のリミックスワークへの参加や、ファッションブランドへの楽曲提供など、アンダーグラウンドに留まらない、カルチャーへのアプローチを続けている。また、楽曲制作とともに DJ としても国内外でプレイしキャリアを積み上げてきた。現在は CCDC のメンバーとして、渋谷Mitsuki で行われる KITANOKUNIKARA というパーティーをベースに活動を行っている。●レーベル・イントロダクション「COCAG」の名前の由来は 3 つの言葉を組み合わせてつくられた造語です。Coincidence “偶然”Certain “確かなる”Aggregation “集合体”COCAG Records は 2024 年に設立された DANCE MUSIC に特化したアナログオンリーのレコードレーベルです。私たちの信念は、日本のダンスカルチャーを日本の素晴らしいアーティストと共に世界に発信することを目的にしています。(メーカー・インフォより)
