Originally released in 1995, this timeless EP is a testament to Fowlkes’ distinct blend of raw, soulful techno and deep house. The FREQ team has meticulously remastered the tracks, ensuring the warmth and energy of the original production is preserved. A key inspiration for our narrative has been the origins of techno and the way it became commercialised and streamlined for the capitalist market, with the original creators losing control of the genre. We’ve woven this concept into our story, though it's expressed in a more coded and abstract form.
