Our newest exclusive on Bluebeatmusic label.......When I heard the rough mixes of this session I knew that this record had to be heard......Jon Atkinson is a 24 year old multi instrumentalist whose depth of understanding of old school 50's blues is phenomenal......His choice of songs ranges from rough Memphis/ Sun label covers to wild interpretations of raw post war Chicago gems along with a selection of originals that are hard to discern from the covers.......Joined by FRED KAPLAN from the HOLLYWOOD FATS Band and NATHAN JAMES, Atkinson shines on harmonica & guitar but his vocals are really his strong suit.......the kid can really sing!!!!.......Don't say i didn't tell you.........1. Boogie With You Baby2. Natural Born Lover3. Mean Ole Train4. Go Away5. Feel So Worried6. Like Wolf7. Don't You Know8. Where'd You Stay9. Throw This Poor Dog A Bone10. Try Me One More Time11. Left My Happy Home12. Long Leanie Mama13. It Ain't Right14. Please Help
