The Silence / ザ・サイレンス / Hark The Silence / レコード

Listening to this record is like finding and opening the black box from a fallen star.  You can lie back, listen to it and recover from life on earth."
- Tom Rapp   Pearls Before Swine

Just as Ghost somehow imprinted the 60s onto our own time, the Silence is mining the 70s and bringing us back complication."
- Damon Krukowski   Damon & Naomi, Galaxie 500

(WIRE Magazine , UK)

The Silence traffic in anything but sepulchral stillness. Their music courses with the blood, passion, and noise of life. Where is their silence then? In those moments of cenobitic hush before the music begins, in the eerily still spaces at the heart of the storm, in those blurred moments as cacophony quiets and the last tones fade back into the air… Hark and you too may hear.
- Alan Cummings (WIRE Magazine, UK)
