“There are very few who manage it these days but Powell speaks with his own voice, a wonderfully disfigured beauty is born”
Regis —
“Ritualistic, raw, and smeared with the afterglow of something that’s clearly over, but still echoing. A document of collapse rendered with grace”
Richie Culver —
“Beautiful record. Super diverse and covers so much ground”
Raime —
“Powell continues to touch in the most surprising of ways! Oddly powerful & really affecting”
Graham Sutton (Boymerang / Bark Psychosis) —
“So gorgeous! The mechanics of ‘dance music’ are revisioned into a concept album successfully; it’s not an easy feat. The album took me to some very strange places (sonically, emotionally). It’s super intimate. There’s such a nice crest to the sequencing and the development of the record as a front-to-back listen that’s really satisfying”
