現在も猛然とリリースを展開する衰え知らずの80'Sシンセ&エレクトロ・マスターDMX KREWがミネアポリス・サウンド、ブギー、フリースタイルを取り入れた2005年発の早すぎた名アルバム"KISS GOODBYE"をリイシュー。
自らのレーベルBREAKIN' RECORDSでのリリースは勿論、デビューを飾ったREPHLEXに残した数々の作品、そして近年ではPEGGY GOO主宰のGUDU RECORDSにも登場する等幅広く支持されるシンセ・サウンドの鬼DMX KREW。本作でも80'Sサウンド全開のNW&シンセ・ブギーを展開していますが、NU DISCO~バレアリック・サウンドや80’sリヴァイバルが定着した現在に於いてむしろ2005年作は"早すぎた"ともいえるドンピシャに心地よくご機嫌なサンセット・サウンド。
2022年には独バレアリック名門PERMANENT VACATIONからアルバム作品をリリースしているのも納得、最高に心地よい名アルバムのリイシューです。

Kiss Goodbye showcases Ed DMX in his absolute finest form in songwriting and richness of production. A guaranteed antidepressant with timeless moments from an ode to a mature lady in “D.I.V.O.R.C.E.E.”, to a rap about a cheating girlfriend in “Who’s That Guy?". Full of classic quotables combined with funk that would make Morris Day proud.
The 2xLP is available in standard black, and a special sexy red edition. Mastered by Noel Summerville whose CV includes too many classics to mention, from Newcleus and Hashim to Ohio Players and Rick Astley! The sleeve has received redesign treatment by the Organic Analogue’s Benedetta Sodini.
