Presons" (Prisons) is the second album by Nerea Bassart Trio, a Catalan funk/soul group with pop and urban influences."With this new album we have taken a step forward. The songs, the sound, the production... everything has been taken care of in detail. It is a daring album and with which we will enjoy a lot on stage".With a trio format (vocals /drums, guitar and bass) now dare to incorporate a synthesizer, without losing the 3 format. The dynamic style is the hallmark of the new live show, with changes of instruments and collaborators. The band- Nerea, Pau and Xavi - released their first album "Soroll" ("Noise") (Discmedi, 2020) - a work of organic sound - just moments before the pandemic. However, they were able to present it on stages such as the MMVV, the BPFest, the Pau Casals Auditorium or the Capsa Music Fest.¥2,090 (税込)ご注文できません -

The story of Ocata begins in the summer of 2015, in El Masnou (Barcelona), where its members took the name of the beach to call the band. Two years later, they presented their first EP "Cara B" (Infinito Records), which took them to small format festivals in Catalonia. With his debut album, "9 Historias y 1 Mentira", Ocata presented a declaration of principles about his style: to make short stories accompanied by pop music. The lyrics are full of cities and characters; everyday situations that are still extraordinary."Todas las suertes de lo imprevisible" ("All the luck of the unpredictable") is their new album, for which they have turned the detailed observation of the exterior towards the first person. The band presents stories from their own past and present, and some glimpse of the future. The album, musically connects with references from spanish artists Hombres G or Leiva, but also The Strokes and the first Coldplay albums.¥1,980 (税込)ご注文できません -

The Barcelona singer-songwriter Àlex Torío releases his new, the first in Catalan language, “L’home de l’any (passat)” ("The Man of the year (past))".It includes 14 new songs and according to Torío's own reflections, the album is based on the first album he published, in English, in 2002."I have been 5 years with a notebook where I have been remaking the songs eating, having drinks in cocktail bars, on the train ..."The album is generally about the success and dissatisfaction of dreams come true. It is an existentialist album. Lyrics are a fundamental part of the message of the songsIn the songs there is inspiration from literature and cinema: Poe, Martin Amis, Woody Allen, Fellini ... Other themes come from personal experiences, such as ‘Plou al parc d'atraccions’(‘It's raining in the amusement park ‘) or ’Els dies són llargs, els anys són curts’ (‘Days are long, years are short’).. Some songs are starred by characters with whom he does not identify, it is not a biographical record strictly, although there are aspects that are. There are songs by unfriendly characters, such as ‘ L'home de l'any’ (Man of the year’), ‘El cabró que sóc ‘ (‘The bastard I am’) or ‘Un aire de trofeu’ (‘An air of trophy’).After having produced the last 3 albums in his studio, in this case he wanted to receive other inputs and work with very good people, Caballo Grande. This has allowed the record to be recorded in a period of 2 months.¥1,760 (税込)ご注文できません -
