オリジナル盤&ロスト'77ミックスにデモや別ミックスも加えた4枚組ボックス・セット

Heartbreakers はNew York Dolls解散後、1975年、Johnny Thundersを中心にニューヨークで結成されたパンク・バンドだ。バンドはロンドンに渡り、Sex Pistolsとツアー。1977年には唯一のアルバム『L.A.M.F. (Like A Mother Fucker)』を発表するも、1978年には解散してしまう。当『L.A.M.F. - Definitive Edition』は『L.A.M.F.』の文字通り決定的内容の編集盤で、4枚組のボックス・セットとなる。DISC1は「the lost ’77 mixes」でDISC2はオリジナル盤。DISC3はデモ・セッションで、DISC4では別ミックスがコンパイルされている。
