‘Just Another Illusion’ ‘Step Into My World’ ‘Chain Reaction’ などのヒット・シングルを収録。
Hurricane # 1 were the brainchild of Andy Bell; Andy had been in ride probably the most important young band of the shoegaze movement. the last two ride albums had shown a move away from the straight noise and dream soundscape of the shoegaze sound. he had discovered a voice and a sound that used an increased pallet, he was writing classic pop songs this is where hurricane # 1 take up the running. he was joined by Alex Lowe, will pepper and gareth farmer and they joined the burgeoning uk Britpop scene, a scene that celebrated guitar based pop songs, soon Hurricane # 1 were one of the biggest bands on the scene.
The first album from 1997 contains the hit singles step into my world just another illusion and chain re-action . This version contains a second disc with all the B sides and remixes as well as a superb booklet. Time has been very kind to this set of songs, they show a real class and heart that was missing from a lot of the Britpop movement.
