ヒット・シングル ‘Only The Strongest Will Survive’ を含む 1998年リリースの2ndアルバム。

Hurricane # 1 were the brainchild of Andy Bell; Andy had been in Ride probably the most important young band of the Shoegaze movement. The last two ride albums had shown a move away from the straight noise and dream soundscape of the shoegaze sound. He had discovered a voice and a sound that used an increased pallet, he waswriting classic pop songs this is where Hurricane # 1 Take up the running. He was joined by Alex Lowe, Will Pepper and Gareth Farmer and they joined the burgeoning UK Britpop scene, a scene that celebrated guitar based pop songs, soon Hurricane # 1 were one of the biggest bands on the scene.

The Second album from 1998 contains the big hit Only The Strongest Will Survive and the great follow up singles Rising Sun , The Greatest High and Remote Control . This version contains a second disc with all the B sides and remixes as well as a superb booklet. Time has been very kind to this set of songs, they show a real class and heart that was missing from a lot of the Britpop movement.
