With Chicc, Yapacc and DESI open a new and unexpected chapter for Logistic Records — a fresh collision of avant-garde pop, sophisticated house and minimal electronics. The two artists first met at the Sofia Synth Symposium in 2025 and reunited after performing together at SSS 2026. A few months later, they met again in Sofia and recorded six tracks in a single night. Three became this vinyl EP, with a fourth track released digitally. Yapacc’s analogue machines and modular explorations meet DESI’s distinctive voice and songwriting, creating music that is playful, melodic, sophisticated and completely alive. Rather than following the darker codes of minimal techno, Chicc embraces a brighter, more adventurous energy — intricate grooves, unexpected textures and pop sensibility without clichés. From the elegant, off-centre groove of “Gentle Desaster” to the irresistible freshness of “Chicc” reminding the vibe of “Liquid Electric” released on Perlon from Narcotic Syntax (Yapacc & James Dean Brown’s band) and the more experimental and energetic “Burgas Resonator”, this is music that feels both immediate and genuinely new. Minimal music without austerity. Avant-garde without heaviness. Pop without clichés.
